Our company cars cover nearly 9 million kilometres annually. Therefore, when choosing company vehicles, we consider their environmental impact and safety features.
- We purchase cars that offer sufficient engine power for quick responses on the road while ensuring low fuel consumption.
- We regularly service our vehicles to ensure they meet environmental protection standards.
- We utilise digital tools for car fleet management, which not only show the optimal route, but also provide ongoing analysis of driving style including average fuel consumption, number of braking and acceleration incidents, and adherence to speed limits.
- We promote ECODRIVING principles, which involve a conscious approach to road travel, combining defensive driving, appropriate driving techniques and proper vehicle usage.
We manage electrical energy rationally
- We use energy-efficient LED lighting.
- We conduct internal energy audits.
- We manage electricity consumption in office spaces flexibly, switching to an economical mode for air conditioning equipment during nights and weekends.
- We implement free-cooling, an energy-saving method of cooling refrigerants using outdoor air, without activating energy-intensive compressors.
Solar energy for medicine production
A strategic
goal for Polfarmex is for the majority of the electrical energy required to
ensure uninterrupted medicine production to come from our renewable sources.
Therefore, we are building a photovoltaic installation at our Kutno facility.
It will significantly meet our energy needs, especially during the summer when
they are highest.
